Draw a jar or tin from the kitchen
I keep the tequila in the kitchen and it seemed like the best looking, most interesting "jar" so I chose this to sketch. Background colored in Photoshop.

I like this, it looks great against the blue background. Your comments about your bed made me laugh - my bed is very uninspiring too!
I like this one! Have you considered doing a watercolor background by hand? Depends on the paper you're using.
